October 5, 6, & 7 2009

Welcome to the 4th Annual Camp Breckinridge Reunion! The reunion is for all those who were stationed at the camp during the twenty-year life of the camp, their spouse, family, and friends. This included WWII Veterans, Korean War Veterans and Vietnam Veterans. We are trying to reach as many Camp Breckinridge Veterans as we can, but if you know a Veteran who wishes to come with you, they are also welcome.

The reunion will be held at the James D. Veatch Camp Breckinridge Museum & Arts Center. This building was once one of the three service clubs on the camp property. You may have visited during the 40's as the NCO club or during the 50's as the Officer's Club. The club was renovated during 1999 and opened for business in April 2000. The club now houses the Museum, Historical Society, Arts Council, , Genealogy, and Community Theater.

• ENTERTAINMENT: We will have a social night on Monday for everyone to get re-acquainted. If there is enough attending we will rent a coach tour bus and visit at Fort Campbell on Tuesday. We will come back here for dinner. On Wednesday we will have the reunion here at the Camp Breckinridge Museum.

• ACCOMMODATIONS: The reunion will go smoother if all will stay at the Hometown Inn. This would allow the bus to pick you up at the hotel and head to the museum for the trip to Fort Campbell. If you choose to stay outside Morganfield, you will need your own transportation here. If you are using the airport in Evansville and need transportation to Morganfield on Monday, please let us know. Any other scheduling problems you may have, please let us know because we could help.
• HOMETOWN INN: (1.270.389.9848) in Morganfield, Kentucky is located at 55 US Hwy. 60 W. The room rate is $58.85 including tax for double occupancy each night.
• CAMPER AND RV PARKING: Moffitt Lake Recreation Area, Bordley-Boxville Road, Morganfield, 270.333.4845, Audubon State Park Camping Area: US Hwy. 41 N. Henderson, KY 270.826.5939.

• CANCELLATIONS: Cost for each person to come to the reunion is $100.0. This will cover all expenses at the Museum and eh bus rental to Fort Campbell. This does not include the hotel. We would like to know about how many will be attending by the 10th of August so we can finalize the plans. If you have paid and need a refund, your money will be refunded in full. If for some reason or another, please let us know if we should not send you information about the reunion.
